Our terminal is accessible to all types of pure car/truck carriers (PCTC’s) at all states of the tide. With no locks to navigate, the sailing time from the open sea to the terminal is less than two hours.
Our objective is to expand and strengthen its relationship with the automotive industry by offering a complete package of high quality services aimed at providing on-time delivery of cars from manufacturers to their customers, the importers and distributors. Two PCTC’s can be handled simultaneously, and our complete facility is well fenced, asphalted, drained and illuminated. An electronic security system provides additional protection for up to 40,000 passenger cars. The local Customs officials provide an excellent service.
Our terminal is situated in the immediate vicinity of a toll-free motorway which links directly into the entire European motorway network. Within the terminal boundaries are two railway sidings for loading and unloading double-deck rail wagons. The terminal is located adjacent to the port’s trunk line, thus providing direct access to the entire European rail network. There is also a direct connection to the inland waterway system.
A number of regular feeder and short-sea services are operated between Rotterdam and countries such as the UK, Ireland, Scandinavia, Iceland, the Canary Islands, etc. Sailing times are short and frequencies range from at least weekly to often daily connections.
We make every effort to ensure damage-free handling of valuable Ro-Ro cargo. We emphasize careful and diligent attention to handling safety through constant supervision and continuous implementation of improvement programs.
